Who we are

Peace and Mind provides effective and authentic counselling and talking-therapy services. We are a passionate and skilled team of qualified therapists that work with a diverse range of presenting issues. Peace and Mind believe in an authentic and supportive approach to our therapy and offer flexibility, trust and confidentiality at our practice.

Started in 2025, we are a local organisation to Hertfordshire and Essex, with reach around the whole of the United Kingdom. Peace and Mind are licensed by the British Board of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and have a strong ethical outlook, believing in fair and confidential treatment of all people and backgrounds.

Currently we are developing a programme dedicated to providing tools and education within schools and local businesses to raise awareness about mental health, talking and social issues experienced today. If you feel that you are in need of talking to someone, are waiting in lengthy delays for referrals to mental health support, or wanting to make a change for your future, talk to us.

Who is welcome?

Our therapists make up a variety of genders, ages and ethnicities; coming from all walks of life. We do not discriminate against any age, sexuality, gender, disability, culture or religion; and encourage both adolescents and the elderly, and all in between, to start their counselling path.

Financial difficulties?

Peace and Mind appreciates that for some people, financial circumstances may not allow for a therapeutic journey in counselling. If you are a student, over 65, are in receipt of *benefits or feel your circumstances might apply, we recognise a range of supported means. Please contact us for affordable counselling rates if you think you might be eligible.

*Benefits are means-tested and can include Personal Independence Payments, Universal Credit, Armed Services and others.
